$22.00 hour - $80.00 per diem for hours worked (must live 70 miles from job site)
Working 6/10's - Projected job duration 12 months
Pipe Fitter Job Duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Assemble and install piping for air, ammonia, gas, and water systems:
- Cuts or drills holes in walls to permit passage of pipes, using pneumatic drill.
- Selects specified type and size of pipe.
- Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe.
- Install valves, couplings, and other fittings.
- May disassemble and remove damaged or worn pipe.
- Performs other duties as required.
